Positions available at Innerkip Highlands for the 2021 season include:
Golf Shop Staff
Actively facilitates booking tee times in person and over the phone, provides accurate check-ins for golfers, supports back shop and bistro staff in providing exceptional customer service. Communicates effectively with Starters and Player's Assistants to ensure a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience for all guests.
Starters play a key role in ensuring that our first tees stay on time and that guests remain safe through COVID protocols on the golf course. This is an outdoor position that requires excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer service. You don't need to be retired to participate. Give us one to two shifts per week and enjoy excellent golf privileges at our fabulous facility.
Responsible for maintaining the pace of play on the golf course, encouraging golfers to ensure they receive full enjoyment of the facility and support all other departments in providing exceptional customer service. Player's assistant play a key role in maintaining the exceptional playing conditions that are the signature of our facility. This includes bunker raking, green site husbandry (repair ball marks), divot repair and active observation of traffic patterns and working to minimize the impact of play activity on the course. You don't need to be retired to participate. Give us one to two shifts per week and enjoy excellent golf privileges at our fabulous facility.
Back Shop Staff
Ensures the readiness and cleanliness of our power cart fleet, supports the Golf Shop, Starters and Player's Assistant staff in ensuring the cleanliness of our facility and helps to provide our guests with the best golfing experience possible. Participate actively in ensuring all aspects of our facility are neat, clean and in tip-top shape for all guests.
Food & Beverage Operations:
Assistant Front of House Manager
Assume the role of leading the front of house staff to ensure exceptional customer service at all times in all aspects of the F&B operations. Participate actively in the enforcement of COVID-19 protocols throughout the restaurant, inside and out, with a focus on the safety and security of guests and team members. Applicants should have a minimum of 5-7 years of restaurant experience serving and managing.
Our restaurant serving team is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests throughout their visit to the golf course. Successful applicants will be outgoing, positive and dedicated to maintaining a safe dining environment under COVID-19 protocols. SmartServe certification is required and a minimum of 2 years of serving experience is recommended.
Bring your skills in the kitchen to our restaurant and be a key part of the exceptional service in our dining areas. Cooks are encouraged to participate actively in ensuring the guest experience is above expectations. A valid food handlers certificate is required as well as a strong dedication to following COVID019 protocols within the restaurant. A minimum of 4 years of cooking experience is recommended. Menu suggestions are welcome!
Thirst-Aid Server (Halfway House)
Looking for a fast-paced serving environment that will test your skills and allow you to thrive while engaging with golfers in the course of their round? The "Thirst-Aid Station" at Innerkip is a cornerstone of the golf experience and helps to complete the overall atmosphere at the club. Successful candidates will be driven by a desire to provide exceptional customer service, a strong individual work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to multitask throughout their shift. A SmartServe certificate and valid Food Handlers Certificate is required. A minimum of 2 years of serving experience is recommended.
