The 2025 Club Championships at Innerkip Highlands Golf Club set a new milestone with nearly 100 competitors, making it the largest field in the event’s history. Over two days and 36 holes of spirited play, five new champions emerged.

The Men’s Club Championship came down to a dramatic three-way playoff between Jamie Doering (70/74 - 144), Davey Morton (73/71 - 144), and Mason Hamilton (71/73 - 144), each finishing at even par. On the first playoff hole, Hamilton, fresh off celebrating his 17th birthday, rolled in a lengthy birdie putt in front of a large gallery to capture his first Club Championship title. With his poise and talent, Hamilton has signalled a bright future ahead.

The Women’s Club Championship (Net) featured its largest field yet, with Cindy Dunham rising to the occasion. Her steady play (76/74 - 150) carried her to the championship.

In “B” Flight action, James Meyer delivered fireworks early, stringing together four consecutive birdies on Saturday before cruising to a 6-shot victory (74/79 - 153). Meanwhile, Rick Gervais battled his way through two steady rounds (78/77 – 155) to secure the “C” Flight trophy and his first club championship victory.

The “D” Flight added extra drama when Drew Stoltz outlasted Bruce Cook in a playoff to clinch the title, improving on his T2 finish from 2024.

The championships were once again proudly supported by Baden Coffee Company.  Their dedication to growing the game, particularly through their commitment to Junior golf, continues to bear fruit, most notably with Men’s Champion Mason Hamilton, who benefited from their support as a young player.

The course itself shone as a star of the weekend. Thanks to weeks of preparation, the course presented championship conditions that challenged and rewarded the players, adding to the prestige of this historic 2025 event.
